Programme for Féile Átha Dá Chab, Ballydehob Traditional Music, Song and Dance Festival 2007

Here is the programme for Féile Átha Dá Chab, Ballydehob Traditional Music, Song and Dance Festival, April 20-22, 2007. All the sessions are free, instrument and singing workshops will cost €20 each for the day, the dance workshop will cost €10 for the whole day and entry to the céilí will be €8. Workshops are open to students of all ages, including adults. The bodhrán workshop is the only one that will be suitable for beginners. The singing workshop will be divided into two distinct lessons. The morning lesson will focus on seannós singing and be conducted through Irish. The afternoon lesson will focus on traditional songs in English and be conducted through English. Students can attend one or both of these singing lessons. The cost will be €20 for the whole day or €10 for just one lesson. Places will be limited in the singing and instrument workshops, so it is advisable to register in advance.
