Féile Átha Dá Chab Update

It is only early February yet and there are already people booked in for the workshops of Féile Átha Dá Chab, Ballydehob Traditional Music, Song and Dance Festival 2007. In particular, the accordion and fiddle workshops are half full already, so anyone interested in attending them should definitely register for them as soon as possible, so as not to be disappointed. To do so e-mail Féile Átha Dá Chab or ring 028 38973. There is also great interest in the dance workshops and the céilí, with groups of dancers planning on coming to Féile Átha Dá Chab from Tralee and as far away as France! If you are going to do the dance workshop, don't forget to bring a sweeping brush for the brush dancing in the afternoon!
Féile Átha Dá Chab could not happen without the support of its many sponsors. Recent sponsors include Barry's Tea; Carbery Oils; EBS Building Society, Skibbereen; Minihane's Bar, Lisheen; and Permanent TSB, Skibbereen. Thanks to these and everyone else who is supporting the festival, which looks set to be a mighty weekend altogether.
Keep your eye on this space for more festival updates!
